You should be able to get a suit of banded for around 100pp.
My progression was:
>Crappy leather (ruined pelts)
>Banded (long time)
>Imbued Northman Ringmail (I made it myself! WIS +2, STR +1, SvCold +2 each piece, better AC than Banded too)
>Mob Drops, Bazaar purchases (an |

Greetings,
The guide at www.eqtraders.com to getting going is still pretty valid - there are other choices now, but if you have the pp to spend on ingredients, you could do worse than to follow that.
Bog Juice will get you going to 21, then follow the guide's progression from there. It's what |

PoP only seems like more of the same stuff I've seen for the last 60 levels. I can't get excited about what it offers.

For Beastlords yes. SKs can get a somewhat Ok Tunic.. For Shamans NO and for Warriors, no. There's a few items you can get, but they still don't have the "newbie armor quests" that many of the other races have. They gave it to the beastlords with the Ruthless leather quests. It may b |

Well,
Maybe a little..
when being powerlvled you prolly won't tank the mobs wich causing your defensive skills not to raise.
When equipping a very good weapon, or get xp from not really attacking the mobs that much, your weapons skill won't grow that much.
Wich causes your ATK and AC and dog |

Based purely on stats, I dhave to agree with you Burning scepter is what I rather have. The cast time on Iceshatter is deplorable and 325 DD makes it useless. 10 str is a nice little bonus however and being a Wizard and unable to use the Burning Scepter (mag only) this item is awesome.
