Forget the half-elf and human. The best race for a druid are hafling and wood elf. Forget the half-elf and human.
They both start with a fair wisdom lvl, and have some nice perk.
My druid is a hafling, they are less strong then wood elf but they get an inate hidding ability and infravision. A |

Wood eves get racial hide ability, and infravision. Even less difference than you thought.
My understanding is: Halflings get slightly higher starting wis. Otherwise, the only real difference is that once you start raiding Kael, a halfling druid either needs levitate, or will me jumping a lot, si |

I was able to do the note for janam/note for rebby quests, and now am in good with everyone in east and west freeport, except for some jerk in the bar (inn?) near the militia house, but he has greened out to me, and doesn't attack any more. BT |

Ok, there are two different issues here:
1) twinking - Yes, the mobs are easier to kill, and you level faster. You also still get hit, and use your spells, so they don't fall behind too much. Also, you can do practice sessions to raise spellcasting skills, by repeately casting a lvl 1 heal spell |

As she enters the coldly beautiful City of Neriak, the woman lets her lavender eyes wander over the glowing sigils of power shimmering brightly in the dark streets, reveling in the sight of them.
