Siacay got her directions reversed. The climbable waterfall is to the right as you zone in. The large races (Ogre, Troll, Barbarian) require shrink to be able to climb it.
Another thing, this zone is actually good from 30 up. Lower level groups can simply hunt goblins instead of progessing far |

The Pack drops off Spectral Guardians which can be found in various places in the zone, not just the library. It is 8 slots and only holds roughly medium size items, pretty much any weapons smaller than 2-handed weapons, not sure about what size armor it will hold. |

In fact, a necromancer is better than the druid for dtopping the fleeing TT. The combination of your engulfing darkness (necro snare/DOT), other dots, your lifetap and your pet whaling on the TT keeps the TT from ever getting out of the room. A word of caution, however, these boys hit hard. I hav |

Of all the things that must be mentioned about Dagnor's Cauldron, the Hero's stand up pretty high on the list. It's hard to get in a group period, there are lists for each room. Be patient and your number will come up. If you get lucky, you'll be called soon. And the exp is good, so most don't want to leave once they're in the group |

When you get right down to it, although Dagnor's Cauldron has a reputation for being a desolate wasteland with high drops and hard hitters, it has some great rewards to offer. There is a difference between "no pets" and be carefull with charm. Read phreekitty's guide to kedge.
To elaborate, pets are fine in Kedge. Nothing in Kedge runs, and nothing can be feared. You will never have a situation where your pet chases down a fleeing mob and brings back friends.

What was an interesting camp has just gotten more interesting. A few warnings if you'd like to hunt evil eyes... first of all, there's probably a high level caster there farming PBBs. Annoying, but true. Assuming though you can get a spawn, the trick to fighting an evil eye is to take it down fast. |
