Deep in the Mists of Time, so long ago that memory now is but a fleeting shadow, Darrkin was born and raised by music and song. The purpose for her existence: To be Guardian and Watcher of the Realm. The Wheel of time turned in its never ending cycles. She watched as mighty empires rose and fell, as the gods struggled endlessly for power over the Mortal Realm, as new empires replaced old and as the older empires faded into the Fabric of Time to become rumors, myths and legends. And still she remained, unchanged. Time passed. Darrkin longed for the happiness of companionship for her heart felt empty. Her only constant companions were the songs she sang. So Darrkin was alone.
