| thats a noble thought. i went there at 48 and the monk told me the same thing. so i said the melees can hold it themselves and started loading my evake for myself and the cleric who agreed. quickly they changed their tune however. hmmmm maybe casters are important to holding this room. the thing | ||||

| Nice caster orb... casts ..feeble mind, can be cleared with 54 cleric SoL spell. He AoEs that. You _can_ cast thru it, but its very difficult. I had no problems while others had a 100 percent fizzle rate. I'm not going to give you any more strategy :) I'm happy to be in the first guild on my server | ||||

| I have killed Dvinn at lvl 10 (wiz) with a lvl 7 (forgot) or something like that. If anybody even thinks about trying to kill him at this lvl MAKE SURE YOU HAVE BACKUP. | Great Mage item if you dont have Shield of Auras, or necro, it does stack with Lich and has 3hp/tic. Also dunno where you heard this "absorb 5000 damage" bullcrap but it's not true. If I use a mod rod (300 dmg) I still take 150 dmg. 300-150 = 150 ie it absorbs 150 dmg period. It has | ||||

| the fact that you people are even comparing this to and idol of the thorned or a gorgan idol makes me laugh, price for this would be 20-25k easy,, it has 15 more ac then the idol of thorned, and has much much much beter stats , and i dont think they will sell near as much to they will be rare to b | ||||

| About a month ago while i was playing in MM which i like to do being a pally and all someone trained it to zone so when the guy who pulled it zoned in we helped him kill him dropped the glowing iron pike at that time not the BP but he was up for a little while at least seems to be a rare spawn tho | ||||

| I haven't had a chance to group here for a lengthy camp since the first week of release. In a 6 or 7 hour camp, our little XP group got 2 of those nice scimitars, a bone braced buckler, about 5 shissar scale pieces, and a few other random loots. | The mob you are thinking of was the "Servitor of Luclin." We didn't even attempt him as we only had one cleric.. and just like you, our tests showed (tests, meaning, I tested his melee damage, and a shaman sacrificed :p to see if it was slowable). Flurries, immune to slow, max hit on me | ||||

| if you want to see him lull the npc around you and then nuke inside the door. He should open the door and start attacking you. Im lvl 60 he does about 200dmg to me. so be prepared to fight. It may not work though. its a 1 in a 50 chance. | ||||

| You seriously think anyone would sell this thing??? Drops from a mob that looks to be raid-type, and probably only classes that can use will get to roll so the casters wouldn't just end up selling it. Also to the post below that talks about idol of thorned getting kicked off the market for a while | ||||
