The quest system could use some changes |

It's really not dynamic, everyone on the same realm gets the same quests and all those I did were go there and get this or kill that... so nothing really immersive to keep my attention. There were no dungeons on my realm when I played so my only option was to group and fight and after 7-8 levels of |

Haven't touched DAOC myself at this point but I plan to buy it...
I think everybody agrees that downtime sucks, and hey I'd get just about the same satisfaction to go outside and dig a ditch... and be healthier for the activity.
But you get a reward too quickly/easily it really is boring and |

I have played a Barb warrior to 22 and then changed to IKS war when Kunark was released.
I out tank most other races in dmg consumed, and am on par if not better then most in dmg applied.
With the Natural Regen and AC bonus, IKS are a very hard race to overlook. If you concern is with faction |

I hand out a Velium Round Shield everytime I come from GD. I would rather have a VRS and no WIS than this pos. This is really bad risk/reward.
Granted not everything can be awsome but come on at least add some resists.

If you are looking for a good group member in this Zone, find yourself a Shaman or Druid. We can root the mob, dot the mob, dd the mob, tank the mob and heal those less fortunate "pure" classes.

Last night I went to go check out the Warrens and eventually head over to Stonebrunt. The Warrens had lag spikes of 25% or better with constant lag at 9% or so. I was alone in the zone at times, never more than 5 others, most heading to Stonebrunt. This is on the Seventh Hammer. Anybody else having |

I read on an earlier post that killing all the Centurions on the Hill before killing the Trainer will cause the Shield to drop. I had been camping for a very long time over many days before reading that post. First try at the new method produced an SBS. I killed all the Centurions in a counter-cl |

Actual, the travel time isn't all that different from EQ. You don't have teleportation or speed buffs in DAoC(cept for bards, they zoom), but you don't have zone after zone of nothing but filler like in EQ. =)

I love Everfrost, I went from levels 1 to 21 here, and stopped back in my 30s for momma mammoths and from 50-53 for ice giants. There are some excellent newbie quests for faction, exp, and decent low level items.
One correction: there are NO mobs in Everfrost that can be killed for positive Hal |

Ok the game is not a finished product yet, need to keep that in mind. That is why it is still a beta. That being said, it still kicks ass. I was a beta tester for EQ and got lucky enough to Beta for DAoC. Almost all the stuff that people say the game is lacking is being added. Or is set up and not i |

I'm a former AC player, and silly though it may have been, I devoted a LOT of my xp to raising my run + jump skills. They cut down on travel time, and plus, it was just fun to be able to jump from building to building in Arwic, or sit on top of a lifestone and make fun of the recently deceased. In |

As a 40 almost 41 shaman, I never get beat on in a group. Its all just in how you fight, if you slam the mob(s) with debuffs and dots without letting the tanks get higher on the hate list you WILL be attacked, and I've seen shamans that do that. Needless to say if you ever wonder why people ignore |
