If you try to cast on any mob that is more than 5 levels higher than you are, more than likely the spell will be resisted. The level of the spell you are using isn't factored in. Now | ||||

| Wow if you then had a 10/19 weapon your misses would total to 80 hps damage. The better the weapon the more damage your missed swings account for. Your logic is flawed. The two weapons are very close in artio, and will deal similar damage. However main hand gets a small bonus, even at low levels | ||||

| This is a bit off the subject, but here is one thing folks can do to limit kill-stealing. When I see a mob with some damage, I /assist it.
