| Simple, supply and demand. This is a lot more common than that 6wis ring that sells for 300pp. This is a very common drop off of any gnolls in Southern Karana and Splitpaw. And it's lore, so people can't farm them, often people leave them to rot after getting one. They're simply not hard to get. | ||||

| Well being KoS to gorenair can be a problem if you don't keep your eyes open, however hunting for red and white scales can reduce your ring of scale as does hunting for Eldric the Old, and I also believe Phurzicon(sp?) does as well. | I did this quest multiple times at lvl 6. Got the 'You gain experience!' message every time, but didn't even gain 1/2 a blue bub (did the quest like 20 times). So don't bother doing this quest unless you need the scrolls or you need ToSR faction. | ||||
