| yes, flash of light is great for crowd control in open areas... if your group is lacking an enchanter on multiple pulls or adds you can easily blind one of the weaker mobs and it will run off while your group freely kills the remaining monster. when flash wears off it will return to be blinded agai | ||||

Whenever a MOB is rooted, every DD it sustains gives it another chance to break root, which makes it seem at times that the druid line of root is less effective because the moment it is cast, a DD takes effect. | The spell is most commonly found in Oasis as Gorthin notes, however for a lvl 9, the trip from Halas to Oasis can be somewhat treacherous (scared the devil out of me my first time thru Highpass at lvl 14!!) But there are other options. I got very lucky in my search for Serpent Sight in Qeynos. | ||||

| Hmmm...The item you speak of is probably the Guise of the Deciever, but it is no longer dropped in game (like rubicite), so only the very longest playing Paladins have one. I've also wondered about this point myself. Anyone with FA care to enlighten us? | ||||

| He spawned in the desk area where the normal Librarian spawns and dropped the key needed for the next level. Spawned one out of every 3 normal Librarian spawns for the group I was in and the same for a second group that was there. | ||||
