Howdy,
I have tried the ensnare and grasping root since the latest patch. First time, I ensnared a Snow Cougar, backed up, rooted him, Dotted him, and blasted him. I waited for the root to break and the snare kept him slow. Everything is fine! Right?
Repeated the process a few more times an |

I heard if you back your pet off before the mob dies that you get all the xp in stead of sharing it with your pet. True or Flase??

I think it is Vin Moltor, which is STUPID because he's a good guy and rather high level. I've only seen Ronn twice (in the same half hour) in almost two years of playing EQ. All I got for this lousy quest was a few coppers and some water. I wasn't happy about this quest at all. |

You could damage shield your charmed animal "pet" to help decide the outcome, but be sure that you don't have to melee the thing to death with the damage shield still on it. I don't use any other type of pet buff, because it will make my task more difficult when I go to finish it off. When it turn |

Might be NERFED. Check the latest topics for more comments. Maybe when stacked, a DD spell will knock both off at the same time. Seems to work that way sometimes, trying to verify this. Anyone else notice anything similar?

It's a bug ;) There's a thread about this on EQ's official site.. started by a GM. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
I have simply been kiting the way I always have prior to the patch.. and ignoring the snare/root stack until this is resolved. |

Druids are hated because a).. other classes are jealous of our ability to solo at higher levels, b).. other classes are jealous of TP and SOW spells that allow us not to waste as much time traveling as other players, and c).. because some druids either haven't quite gotten the hang of effectively ki |

They don't drop.
You give a lambent stone to an NPC in the Temple of Solusek Ro and get a "darkwood staff" in return.
The "Staff of Ro" and a "darkwood staff" are the same thing.
Hope this helps ...

Ok mates, tis a basic tactic but have noticed lack of use on several occasions, when in a group I have a tactic I like to call running a mob, tis simple and alot know it but some seem not to.
This is how it works, when your puller pulls an extra mob or a wondering mob attacks, and it seems to put |

As a Cleric, I'm more interested in wearing my Plat-Jasper rings for 12 Wisdom total. If I was incredibly rich, I'd get some Velium-Jasper rings for 14 Wisdom total... Though if a Velium-Ruby ring is +5 Wisdom, +3 Str, that's even better. (If it's +3 Wisdom, +5 Str, that stinks.) |

if you are refering to kizdean Gix he is around lvl 35. he is very underconned. i have managed to kill him once with help from a lvl 35 wiz when i was 18. now at 20 he still tears me up. because he is an NPC he is hard to hit. wait till your lvl 35 to 40 and make sure your weapon skill is maxed out |

Yes, I enjoy it mainly for the new things and expansions involved, meet and befriend or kill new things , I also enjoy the playing, bout the only thing I dont like is the single or rare spawns that you have to wait hrs to get or even longer cause its camped, and on top of that its rare drop the stuf |

As far as investing your skill points are concerned, I've learned what not to do with the next character I create. Don't bother investing your skill points in any skills unless they require you to invest 1 point in them (like bash). Your weapon skills will go up on their own through practic |

the wurmslayer is a very nice weapon one of its advantages is it is 1hs so you can still use your shield. another plus is it is needed for the FA quest. so you might as well get it now. on my server at least the going price is 2k way to much for my taste. at 21 you (depending on stats) you should be |
