| not too many shields in the game are as easy to get as this one and it has killer graphics. if you hunt in FoB, the +10 Sv Poison really kicks in, as Heart sting scorpions as well as bonebinders can and will sting you / poison you, it is like a DoT and will affect you, this shield helps a lot. | IMHO, this quest shouldn't be used so much for items, xp or cash as it should be used to build up faction with the Temple of Solesk Ro which is HUGE in terms of making Quest armor for Paladins and Rangers...probably more classes as well as there are MANY npc's in the Temple that you need faction wit | ||||

| Ideally, you want to keep all your weapon skills maxxed out. You will want 1HS for when you acquire a Ghoulbane, and 2HS for when you start thinking about the quest swords. | At your level and your location, you can very easily upgrade your shield to a better one. In Crushbone, go to the trainer's hill and kill the Orc Trainer. On him, there is a Shiny Brass Shield (12AC, +10svmagic....forgot the rest of the stats, but it is a lightsource). I think it is a fairly rare | ||||

Ghoulbane. do not buy it. once you hit lvl 25 to 27 get your guild to help you camp it. it took me 6 hours and i now use ghoulbane. others here have been camping for days and have not got it yet. its all on luck and odds. if you are a lu | ||||

| Let me understand this: There is "crushed black marble," "piece of black marble," and "chipped black marble." There is "ancient tarnished BP" and "corroded BP". | There really is no way this item can sustain a 10K price tag now that velious is out. Its AC sucks, and the dot sucks. Once this effect is available you already have drifting death. | I've just hit lvl 20 and I had a ball grouping in oasis on the orcs from 15-20. I'm not much into soloing. Where do I go now to get the same good groups with consistent exp for a few levels and I wont have to wait an hour to get into one ... cash wouldnt hurt either, but not necessary ...... | ||||

| I Completed this quest even though i am a Gnome Wizard with the wrong faction. I hailed the General and then just gave him the pouch. He raised my faction a bit and gave me a one charge potion of sustinence. /shrug | ||||
