| Well, 1) inteligence does help with increase of skill faster, so not a complete waste. B) I believe the reasoning behind this is, and believe it or not the world does not revolve around the tanks of Norrath, that this can be a great item for Melee AND casters. Thats just my 2 cents :) | ||||

| What you do is find a passage of zones that lead from Halas to Freeport and walk it, hey dounds borring but remember to take off all your armor and leave all your money and to also only carry a rusty weapon to defend yourself. | I too had this problem and mostly i used the ward spell as I was fighting. I fizzled alot until I got my evocation up (as in all spells). | He's popcorn if you have a caster friend helping you. He's almost impossible to hit until you are high-teens, but he has almost no magical resistances, and surprisingly few hitpoints.
