I am a 45 Druid on Karana and soloed most of the time to 45 in very short time. Kiting is absolutely essential for Druids who like to solo. When you hit lvl 30 and beyond, if you attempt to melee, watch you hp bar fall to almost nothing in 5 sec flat. I have been able to kite reds well into my 30 |

hmm, correct me if I am wrong..
but what you are describing is not kiting.
What you are describing is "root-bombing"
"root-bombing" is a particularly effective WIZARD solo method. The reason for this is because Wizards can cause enough damage to kill something *before* it breaks root/snare. Dru |

I should start by saying that I am not really a twink, but I was given a nice robe and a mana enhancing ring from a friend. Nevertheless, I think that some people want to be able to play a character for the perspective of seeing a different part of the world. Lets face it, I dont know anyone who lik |

As a follow up.. try to put it in perspective.
If you won the lottery... wouldnt you be nicer to your family/friends? Maybe buy them stuff from your excess??
Or would you still make them work so they could "learn the value of money" and "not expect things to be handed to them".
Would you t |

On the other hand the twinkies can do you a service too. Group with them. I just got through grouping with a twinked monk and the exp was crazy |

You wont come into any major cash untill you hit 29 (group TP) You can find some cash on creatures as you get older but not much, plus sow at 14 could get you some generous donations. But at lvl 6 there is nothing that drops good cash. Orcs arent that bad money wise at your lvl though. Hope that hel |

I played my druid before Kunark came out, so I have not included any Kunark zones for this
level guide. Grouping is great, but for those times where you don't want to group, here is how I did it. I am currently a level 51 druid.

Sorry, I should mention that "wisp island" is the island where 5 willowisps spawn. To get there, you take the boat from Qeynos. It think the zone is called Kerra Ridge or Kerra Isle.
You can find an abundance of wisps in other zones, especially North Karana, where they litter the area. It's grea |

From a roleplaying view twinking is good, it adds diversity to the lowbies, just compare it to RL, some are born in richer families than others. Is the rich boy just lazy because he got a Porsche for his 16th birthday?
I think its the same in EQ.
Another thing is that twinking is actually keep |

I think that overall, halflings are the best druids, with woodelfs coming a close second. Wisdom is too important for druids, which is why I dismiss half elf and human druids.

We practice multiple redundancy in Kedge. Everyone gets waterstones, the druids/chanters bring several stacks of fish scales, and I keep my enduring breath song memmed. If someone has to go afk, the eb casters all target that person and keep 'em targeted until they get back. |

The Tashan and Malise spell lines are the only true way to lower resists. Some mobs (very few, all high level) have effective resistance increased if the caster is out of melee range however.
Beyond that, nothing else works. |
