Not sure if I have the right bard, afterall I've killed so many of them. But in WK, there is a bard at the small village in NW corner of zone. If you're near the "Brother Tree", right where the main road first goes into the canyon heading towards Qeynos Hills, just head north, and maybe just a lit |

Praetor, your ideas are VERY solid but if I might make a suggestion or two =)
One of your bracers should be a bracer of scavenging. (I wear a Hero and scavenger myself)
Better stat bonuses on the scavenger, same AC as ro, easier to get and much cheaper. (Scavenger is going for 500-600 on rodcet |

I used to be more of an AC purist, but I've found that some stats are more useful than others.
I would take a 1 AC loss for 6 wisdom, easily.
I would take 5 SV magic over 5 sta and dex, because A) I don't like the banded or green look and B) I like damage absorbtion on all levels |

Well now from my xp as a warrior I have found my best friend to group with is the cleric. Most of my friends list consist of clerics that I have played with that I thought were also good players. Now for the third memeber I usualy seek a wizard and at low levels that is easy to do. However, I hav |

I agree with the above post that it depends on your race but disagree with where he says to put the starting points. To me it would seem he has it backwards that the smaller races would need more str than the bigger races but that is my opion. I have also read that one should not put all his point |

This is an excellent post and good sound advice he has given you. Everyone thought I was crazy but I have maxed all my weapons skills by level 17 and did this by looking for the fastest weapon I could get my hands on for each skill. This basicly meant I was using tarnished short sword with a delay |

Actually the Wharf rat that drops the "sharp tooth" is lv. 15. It conned even to my lv. 15 bard. If anyone is intereted it hits my 18 monk for 32 regularly. It's not a very difficult kill though. It spawns inside the inn type building with the bar in it. |

The wharf rat that drops the sharp tooth con's even at lv. 15. It hits my 18 monk for over 30 points on occasion, mid 20's is normal. I would say this is definitely not for any solo player below 14. |

I am not trying to say you are wrong, but I would disagree. I have >never< seen a difference with a higher CHA. Supposidly, according to Verant at least, CHA only affects charm and mez spells, not sure about the fear line. I would agree with that simply because whether I am at my base Barba |

Let's face it, we live and die in EverQuest by what we choose to wear. Imagine wearing steel from vendors to a Trakanon raid? That would be embarassing, as well as fatal.
What constitutes a good suit to you? Is it AC, strength, stamina, HP, resists, what? Is it a combination of all of these?

Yes, this easy exp for a newbie. In fact, at level 1 you can make it to level 2 in about 5 minutes just making this trip a few times.
I'm not sure I'd recommend doing it all the way to level 4 without working on your skills some. You'd might find things difficult at 4 and your skills still at 1 |

well, if you take the 4 abilites that are most important to a warrior, str, stam, dex and agil, add up the starting stats of each race, you will see that the ogre warrior has the most, trolls place second, although they have regen, it is not that important, because if you are a warrior, youd better |

Yes, full steel plate would be a very poor choice for a Trakanon raid. That's the point I was trying to make.
Imagine what would happen if we were still back in the era where some people thought steel was better than Rubicite because c |

Can you use your pet AND charm an animal at the same time?
Or does that fall under the same restriction as necromancers, for instance, who cannot summon two pets at once?
Just curious since I haven't reached that level yet...

Whether you can tank or not depends on many things-- AC, level, equipment, the group you are with, how your skills have been kept up (offense and defensive skills), the type of mobs you are fighting, and how willing you are to take a beating.
It can be done, just not as effectively as a true tank |
