yeah, you can't see items as a spirit. best thing is to find gold coast mine. from the opening in the cliff to the mine area swim W-NW and look for the ancor on the ocean bottom. the ancor points exactly where you have to go. chest was at the fissure for me. |

These are okay pets for a hunter of similar level.
They will let you learn the skill cower 2 as Lord Dread noted above. They're pretty good fighters, with an attack speed of 1.3, but they can only learn bite, not claw.
Diet is the big drawback -- They exclusively eat fruit and fungi.
