As far as I can tell, mining the heck out of everything for 47 levels, the precious metals, Silver, Gold and Truesilver, have a small chance to spawn in the same location that a normal mineral of that level would normally spawn.
Copper -- No precious metal
Tin -- Silver
Iron -- Gold

While we're on the subject, I am to the point where mining tin and copper dont give me any skill ups at all. Im ready for iron (I am alliance) and I have no clue where to go. Anyone have any alliance hotspots for iron they know of? Any help would be greatly appreciated |

What you're saying would basically make crafting free or allow it to make money during all stages.
The idea is simple, you start out, you know squat about how to make items, and there are 100,000,000 players that could do the exact same thing. In the mean-time, however, if you picked something t |

I regularly get heavy leathers hunting raptors in the excavation site (the blue razormaws are great for them) in the Wetlands, or the raptors around refugee point in the Arathi Highlands.
It wasn't much profit on the hillmans shoudlers because you're right the AH is flooded, but if you set the bu |

My mining skill is currently 139. I'm not high enough to learn smelt gold yet, but all my smelting skills are greyed out. Do I raise my skill only by mining now? Kind of a n00b question I know, but I'm just confused about this. Thanks in advance for replies |

Hey, I'm closing up on 210 cooking, and I was wondering where to get Artisan Cooking? Are there artisan cooks in some capital city, or is it sold by merchants (like the expert cookbook)? Thanks in advance :) |

I crafted in EQ2, (highest woodworker on the server) and you do lose money on crafting unless you sell it for profit to other players. In EQ2 crafting took tons of time, and you deserved to make a profit from it. In this game crafting takes little effort besides gathering the materials. The price |

Hmm, well I made a hefty profit on my leatherworking. I was saving up for mount, so was skinning plenty of leather. I sold Barbaric shoulders here and there with the heavy hides I had, and then made a bunch of nightscape shoulders. I was lucky enough to find the recepie at the AH for a steal, 1g 50s |

On storm reaver we have a solution. Vendor players. They regulate the price of items. Of course its in a vendor players best interest to drive the price of every item as high as possible. But now you can always get materials because there are some people who cant afford the price. On the plus s |

I strongly disagree that the economy is that out of whack. I started two weeks ago and have found numerous ways to make a profit. Other MMORPGs I've played this was impossible. Leveling enchanting is not as hard as it is made out ot be either. And you do rank for disenchants.

Go NE of the crossroads to the dry hills where a bunch on harpies live. Me and a friend found copper and tin veins and one silver vein there. Just circle around the edge of the mountin and repeat as often as you like. There is also a chest out there that I got a gold bar out of. |

To unlock your cooking skill post 225, you have to complete a quest out of Tanaris. Here are the steps you need to take:
1. Go to the cooking trainer in the The Drag in Orgrimmar. She will give you a quest to find Dirge Quikcleave in Tanaris (he is in Gadgetzan). Note: you have to be level 4 |

Has anyone pulled up anything other than fish? I'm up to 150 skill and enroute to Booty Bay for the fishing manual but I've been nagged by doubts that anything other than fish might get caught on my hook. None of my friends fish so I couldn't ask them and have turned to you good people instead.

I am a mining - engy on dethecus. I am looking at trading and selling my stuff. I am level 15. I have usually just given my stuff away to people who help me out in groups. Or when I have no need for rare items. I try to sell them but I usually get nothing from the vendors. I |

In Feralas, while doing the quest to uncap fishing 225->300, I fished up a 14-slot bag []
There are some pretty interesting items I've caught, but I've pretty much given up on fishing unless it's to raise my cooking skill. Grinding gives you better loot anyways. |

I have capped my Fishing at 75 and need to unlock my cap now that I am level 10. As for fishing up any items besides fish, no. Most likely b/c I have only fished in lower level areas such as Iceflow Lake and Echo Isles as my Orc Warrior. |

Be careful! Not that you can do anything about it, but the Cooking quest is bugged.
You complete it, get the clamlette surprise, the new skill of Cooking, see the graphics on you, but for some people they don't get their skill cap raised to 300.

SAM is best 60+. Meditate and Penta Thrust just rules everything. SATA wouldn't help as much as spamming Penta Thrust every 30 seconds. I know I'm not high level, but I have done a lot of research on job/subjob combos. |
