	I tried this one with my cute, charming, friendly little gnome (who worships Brell Serilis) and the pointy-eared, stuck-up old fart in the Cleric's guild made some comment about slime that could speak and refused to have any dealings with me.

	yes and no.. Purpose of the spell "identify" is to tell you what it is you do have, nothing else. So just make sure you have the right one. but then i don't know how you'd be able to find out which gold you have unless you do identify it. =P

	Actually, although you might be able to do this shackle quest without doing the previous, you won't be able to get what you really want (the shackle of steel) unless you do the ones before it. Reason being you have to turn in both the shackle of copper and the shackle of bronze to get the shackle

	The dwarf version, in the pally guild, gives tattered armor, rusty weapons (mostly 2HSs, and SSs) and better exp. I measured it with 2 new pallys of both races. If the quests give the same exp, then the elf pally takes even more exp to level than his Dwarven counterpart.

	Yes, petrified redwood still drops off of the succulents. I get them frequently off of the spiked and thorny succulents. The fools gold appears to forage anywhere in FM. I've foraged it near the zones to Overthere and LoIO, and I've foraged it other places in the zone as well.
