Ok...here's the way I see it. Do you like to play with other people? Sure people like having a Magician around **cough** for their pets and their ability to summon food/water. It take a bit more thought to play a Wizard. You have to think about how much damage has been do so that you don't get aggro |

Well I play a dwarf warrior (they just simply rock:) because they have small armour (less weight) so you can carry more stuff in your packs. You also get a bonus on sense heading (very useful) it starts at 50. When you jump while running forward, you do this tuck and roll thing (pretty cool). Also y |

How does the game determine how much damage our kick does? Is it by lvl, by skill, by boots, random, what? I'd appreciate it if someone knows the formula. |

OK heres one for group rangers. if you are pulling and get a bad pull of 2 mobs instead of one, root one bad boy before you take to your group and then take other mob to be fought and tell your group another mob may break root and be in at any time. it will give everyone more time to deal with the s |

Go to SK and fight Aviaks, the loot is good and theres plenty of grouping and mad XP. Biggest drawback is the crowd. No arrows supplies close but I always hire a mage to cast me 120 3dmg arrows and pay him/her about 5p they always seem to go for that price.
No faction hits on Avi's either. Get |

Barbarians are a billion times better than stumpies. First they have a base 113 str, dwarves have base 100. Their base 105 sta is 5 better than dwarves. And dwarves win the agililty category by 3, Barbs have base 87, dwarves have base 90. Next, barbs have slam at the begining, which allows you to stu |

I went from 20-29 there in one week!! All solo, first, at level 20-22, go to the windmill and pull various blue from the ruins near there. Then, when you hit 22, go to the other side - near the sarnak fort and get a 46+ druid or shaman to buff you. You n |

how do you "set a short distance limit?"
Do you mean set a limit on tracking (is this possible?) or just limit yourself to how far your willing to run to find your tracks?
Sorry, but I am a new Ranger and I am trying to find out as much as possible about this promising class. |

I agree with the last post to a point. If you are carful you can solo at the lake with out the buffs. stay close to the shore on the left side of the river when you come in to the zone. There you will be able to pull blue all day long. You can do this to level 23 or 24 then start working on the |

This is sorta a good strategy but...
doing that much dmg to a monster will totally make it focus on you. With that in mind, you'll be left running in circles while your pet is trying and trying to pull it off you, but it can't because you have aggroed it with that wave of 2 bolts. Well your pet w |

It really doesn't matter what you train in. You can't hit worth a damn with any weapon anyway; in fact, past about 10th level, if you're swinging at the bad guys, something has gone seriously wrong...
Personally, I dropped a few training points into piercin |

Ummm ... I've solo'ed almost exclusively from level 1 to level 26, I know I can solo to 29 easily; and hey, at 29 I get Bonds of Force.
In that time, I had a little bit of trouble around level 16. Otherwise, it's been pretty darn easy =) Wizards do NOT suck at soloing; it can get a little borin |

First thing: I have had very little trouble playing my wizard solo. Don't believe the hype! Root and shoot works just fine, even if it is a little tedious. I pop off a bad guy every 10 minutes or so, like clockwork (that's 30 seconds of combat, 9 1/2 minutes to med up ;)
Secondly, teleports |

As with any class, it is the player that makes the character. There are times I have seen both warriors and monks embarrass the word TANK. If you know your role then play it, otherwise get a class that you can handle. |
