Smith or tailor? |

Hi again,
I'm relatively new to EQ and am trying to get ahead without twinking - so in order to make cash (as a warrior) what trade might suit me the best?
I am guessing that the low INT of a human warrior might make advancing these skills rather painful.
As always, advice is welcome. |

Just a small thing that I dont know if you have considered or not when you asked if anyone plays without twinking.
Most twinks you see running round with uber gear have that gear because the person playing them started playing 1 or 2 years ago completely untwinked and put the time into their char |

For early on stuff I'd recommend smithing.
Sharpening rusty weapons will get you started, and you be able to make much more useful things for yourself as time goes on.
Tailoring is something I take up with all my characters at a low level, get some free points from combining spiderling and spi |

I agree 100% with you, Suede.
As I mentioned in my last posting, I don't think twinking is cheating. But I am a new player and I want to work up the same hard way that they did.
That's the kind of advice I am looking for - thanks for your input. I really appreciate it |

Hopefully your problem can be solved, but we might need a little more information.
1. What is your current skill level at? At level 53 it should show under your skills list.
2. What are you practicing on? You can only improve archery on mobs that give you exp. And while I agree that hitting a bat |

Dartaniun,
The weapon bonus you're seeing is the same bonus you've always had for your primary hand's 1hs (this is the bonus that began at 30(?), and increased every few levels thereafter).
When you look at your arrows, the program decides you are holding it in your primary hand, and assigns it |

I'm in the "I'll take every advantage I can get" camp. The 24 points of damage, and -4ac are worth it in those close battles, as has been mentioned. It's quick (1.5sec) casting time allows me to cast it without disrupting my attacks, and keep it on constantly in battle. Its lesser known effect of be |

You say you're in Qeynos Hills area?? As far as I'm concerned, that is a very good location to raise funds and get exp for lower levels. How? The rabid pelt quest, of course... Kill those rabid wolves and griz's and turn in the pelts. The griz pelts in particular will get you 1 or 2 PP each, a spel |

The weapons are required from 24 up until the 39th lvl pets for duel wield but that is the only use for them. They add no dammage or speed increase since the weapon del isn't counted when it comes to weapons for pets. Once you get the 39th lvl pets the only thing the weapons will do for you is to |

I tried using other spells to add to the taunt factor for peeling and with the exception of snare nothing comes close to being as efficient. Care |

you are out of your mind! and you should start a warrior. The amount of NPCs that are pure animals is low. If you purposely go to a zone to fight animals, fine. If you have the spell memmed, you are Wrong. The 3 times in my career useing Pan |
