| Best bet if you can't find the Velious expansion as a stand-alone product is to get the Trilogy...same price in the long run. | I assume you're talking and Guard Captain's Mallet and either CBoL/Seb Croaking Dirk in orginial combo. I think you should get the Wavecrasher and put the dirk in offhand... then you have fast hitters in both, and the wavecrasher's proc makes it all the worthwhile, especially since it procs at lvl 1 | ||||

| Get rid of the lammy... I don't know prices on your server but it usually is worth the same as a lupine dagger... 9/18 4dex/wis procs greater wolf form at 45. | Well, strength is important, especially after your damage cap drops at 20. High strenght will allow you to hit for more. Stamina gives you hit points, the higher the level the better the effect. | Rangers do more damage than warriors...it's just a fact of having bonuses to ATK (spells, and inherent). Then if you consider the later levels, when a Ranger won't be tanking as much; he'll be atacking from the side or behind the MoB, benefitting from the greater hits and damage from those locations | ||||

| Ok, some guy posted this formula on the monk boards and I would assume it would work the same for all melees. This supposedly determines your maximum damage output. (Weapon Dmg) X (Weapon Skill + Strength) / 100 + Dmg Bonus. So lets take a Centi Longsword as an example with a dmg bonus of 7 | ||||

| Opinions will vary on this, but I would get him a set of Banded armor, orc fang ears, jagged bands and fill out other slots with whatever is cheap.
