Granted I'm still a relative newbie so this has not affected me as much as a 20+ level player but i felt it is good advice. Be sure to train and use ALL weapon types. 1HS, 1HB, 2HS, 2HB, Piercing, and Archery. You never know when you might come across that "special, gotta have" weapon. It would |

Imho the ranger is very hard to solo at midrange levels. I always try to get into a group but if a group is not available I will solo. This is where I was able to solo for the last few levels using the root/dot/bowkite method: Sewers in Cazic(Mainly Gators) 30-35, Window room in Sol B 36-39, and p |

Wizards are quite fun. You start out slow, but pick it up after 30 or so. We are exceptional kiters after we Bonds of Force(if you dont believe me, try it) Actually, many Wizards I know have got up through the 50s by just soloing from 34 or so onward. Only problem is you need SoW to kite well |

To be a good tank the main thing is AC. to absorb damage you need good AC. Also remember when taunting use weapons with low dly, it will help move you up the mobs aggro list. Also, dont forget about removing your Area of Effect proc weapons when grouping with an Enchanter that is messing. I t |

The principal behind this is sound, but it is too much to get all your weapons skills up to an adequate level. I suggest that you pick a 1H skill, a 2H skill and archery and concentrate on these. Carefully record what your skill level is with each weapon - it maxs out at (2xlevel)+5. When you are ma |

There seems to be quite a lot of confusion not only on playing a warrior but also creating one.
I will deal first with creating a warrior.
On creating a warrior you have three main choices.
1. Create a warrior to do massive damage.
2. Create a warrior to do lots of critical hits
3 Create a wa |

A lower level kiting technique is the circle of death grouping with a Druid. He sows both members, then he goes out and snares (and swarms) a yellow/red beast, comes back to you (running around you in a circle), you start casting the DD's until the mob turns on you... you then run around (in a circl |

I play a wood elf warrior and i constantly get asked:
Why didn't you just be a ranger?
Did you know that wood elves are the weakest of all warriors?
well these were questions from some of the more "simple" people who don't understand that rangers are NOT a tank. Sorry to all those who think the |

2 handed blunt is the best weapon so far in the game. Granted the chance to get the item is remote but I think worth training in. At lower levels there are some good 2 handed slashers out there so the choice may be hard to make. At later levels (after 40) you may not want to use procing weapons or d |

Just as a correction, You WILL get skill increases in your off-hand when dual weilding. You won't gain skill as fast due to the fact that you will be swinging that weapon less, but you will increase you off-hand weapon skill. |

I believe some of the above information is inaccurate.
Agility affects Armor Class (though not Armor Class increasing skills like Dodge or Parry).
Dexterity affects the frequency of BOTH Weapon Procs AND Critical Hits.

I don't recommend the Kelethin Warrior quest for Bone Chips, Ruined Wolf Pelts, Bat Fur, and Spiderling Eyes. Contrary to popular belief the Ranger along with any class in the game can solo. Just a matter of when and how much is involved.
up to lvl 10 is cake for any class.
up to lvl 15 it gets little tricky but doable
lvl 17 is our turning point.
At 17 I rushed around to get a group for Runny Eye. |

I personally think halfling warriors are the best warriors out there. They A. have great starting stats, B. start in a friendly city, with the best newbie zone, C. can regen more than a troll with iksar cp on, and D. are the fastest leveling race/class combo in game. They have a very nice balance |

Do rangers have the hide skill? I mean besides the wood-elves who has this skill as their natural ability. Yes!
Rangers do get the hide skill. I trained mine in Surefall Glades. Sadly with so many good spells and skills, is hard to get them properly hotkeyed.
I would try getting trained in GFAY at the rangers guild.

I have to take issue with one of your premises, though, even though what you speak of is common practice.
