I started not to post... seeing as how the original post was rather old. I wont go deep into my defense of druids, but I will say that I am a druid and in no way insecure of my heals... nukes etc. I really wanted to reply to the overall assumption that a druid would never wear this BP.

As I ran this quest as a necro, I found all the places to go, so to assist all the evil races (need faction enough to interact with merchants in Grobb, Neriak and Thurgadin).
In Grobb, just past the river on the left, there is a vendor named Ootok (loc 224, n34) sells a bundle of weapons.

Not unlike Akel's Longsword, a 2HS weapon, in terms of name quality =D.
Definetly a nasty item, especially since it isn't nodrop. I expect to see these going for 20k+ on most servers. |

Many zones have at least two methods of entry.
Decay for example, you can raid and Kill Grummus or you can quest for some bug parts in disease.

I am a DE Necro and Trep told me to get the ball of twine in Feerot. I found a large ball of twine from a vendor named Fugla. From the PoK book, head to the bridge over the river. Take a right before crossing the bridge and Fugla can be found in front of the left one of the two stone huts along the |

tking's creations are exquisite to say the least. Its nice to see that the EQ team and SOE has recognized his artwork by featuring it on the EQ website for use in customized UI skins.
A visit to his website using the link that Quemn provided is well worth the time. |

As a wizzy I would definetly go for the grey flesh gloves, it has same int and more mana and save vs cold. I really don't care about ac and sta as I only get hit when I solo and get jumped by a friggin wolf (god I hate wolves). Plus this has awesome dex which just totally rocks for a wizzy. For thos |

I agree that proc do help with holding agro.
For a very long time, I used a RBSoN 12/26 with a 176 dd proc. Which really added to my dps.
Personally I feel it is unwise to rely on them for the following reasons
1. proc is a random event, and you can not count on it happing.

Just curious to see if anyone has tried the above combo as a pair? My friend and I are starting up a new team and are seriously considering the above as a group? What are peoples thoughts/opinions on the shammy and monk as a combo?
Thanks in advance. |

Shamen and Monks make great partners. I have seen it said somewhere that a Warrior's best friend is the Cleric, and the Monk's best friend is the Shaman.
Shamen also partner well with Necromancers. |

Sad to say but there are quite a few situations when you need those procs to hold agro - straight up, warrior vs knight, when you want max DPS, a warrior will never hold agro without having some proc help. Procs are about as reliable as Taunt.
AFAIK, level of the mob you are fighting compared to |

Greetings all,
I play a 47 ranger on Xev...or, I did about 8 months ago. I had to take a hiatus for a number of reasons, but now I'm back and ready to rock. Unfortunately, my time out of the game has left me feeling rusty and out of the know, so I'm wondering, where are some good spots I might be |

It really isn't very good. ToV is definitly better - and easier to get hunt ToV than Bastion of Thunder where a lot of the components drop. Very poor RvR.
level to attain is incorrect unless you get twinked through the flags or buy from a tradeskiller. |

Draix, I'm 46 on Torv, and looking around at a few spots. Echo Caverns on Luclin has a few different spots for solo camping. The ever-present fear kiting on Velious (Eastern Wastes, etc...), and Luclin has a few fear kiting spots (Dawn Shroud, etc...).
Good luck

Just out of curiosity, how many times have you stopped your group cause your 00m or gained aggro? Blasting right off the back only causes problems. If you want to save some dmg to the tanks and you feel the need to blast away why not stun the mobs to death....less mana for you and the cleric(they wo |
