I just got one of these and gave up a 6 int robe for it. Why? I calculated it out, I get less mana from just 6 int plus I am getting close to 200 int so I will need mana items. This robe also looks sweet without Luclin running. Is it worth 4k? No clue, maybe to a rogue. Is it a good robe? Def |

Great stats on the Robe name aside any info on the MoB that drops this? I have been in the Deep a litte bit but now I will have to spend some more time there and see if i can get me this robe. |

Who cares what it smells like. Maybe its the fumes that put you in the zone for fast medding. Probably drops off the Thought horror overfiend, or the burrower beast |

This one is really nice but is far from the best caster robe in terms of stats, the effect on this one is better than the one with stats though, you decide which one's better:

hmm, id have to agree with ssilo, this robe does give more mana, but u wont need clarity with this new one :), the ToV robe is more like an enchanter robe :)

I think Sal's Robe of Darkness is WAY better, with the intelligence you get a lot more mana, but considering that Vulak'Aaer doesn't spawn anymore, puts somethings into the picture. Which is better for the drop rate? Which is overall better? Just my opinions, take no regard if you don't want to. |

drops off of the burrower in the deep. it's a week long spawn and you have to get through a RoF event to get to him.

High mana regen beats high mana pool most of the time. The mana difference between these robes is 20 + 5*6 = 50mana. I'd take 4 extra mana per tick most days over that. |

Totally agree Sal'Varae's Robe of Darkness is the best, it will definately keep me alive longer anyway 20 sta 100 hp more ac and more resists. Faster mana regain is not going to help me if I am nuking. Just imagine the aggro if I used that extra mana. |

Maybe it's just me, but I'm a little annoyed that a caster gets a Chest piece that has as much AC as the best Ranger BP. Then add to it the FT V...

The thing that makes this item great is not the stats... its the resists. At the level you would be able to get this, sure your stats will be plenty high but resists are the factor that make or break you. This is all moot though becaue a) your guild wouldn't award this to you to wear, it would be |

What good does knowing these languages do besides being able to talk behind someones back right in front of them?
Do NPC talk different languages when you go to hail them in exotic cites or something? I've never come across an NPC I could'nt talk to and I've certainly never hailed a dragon.

I'd say it depends on who you are really...
For a wizard or mage, this robe owns... mana regen is it all the way. A good wizard shouldn't get hit (quad 1154s are an ugly thing at 900AC, 3khp), and this robe means more nukes in a long battle (like the worm that drops it) or faster |

You have to take into consideration the relative AC of this item compared to Rangers. Rangers get an AC bonus, casters don't. This 50 AC BP for casters would be equivalent to a 30-35 AC BP for Rangers (after AC bonus). |

Permanent Haste stacks with either one Song or one spell... not one song and one spell. There are a few exceptions to the rules, bards. We have two songs that stack with another song/spell.
