Are you sure. People come by that location a lot, but the Lord hasn't been seen on Vallon for months. Does he have a placeholder ? What lvl is he ? Does he indeed look like a Paw gnoll ? |

If you are under lvl 9 SK, or lvl 3 or 4 necro, this aint bad. Little bit of exp. Free spells. Worst thing is you have to run from Field of Bone to Lake and back to fulfill the quest. Get lots of bags |

The quest isn't broken, I talked to a gm and she said it was up and running. Though I still think it's funny that the listed time says 2 hours, I've been in bb 4 days and havn't seen him. Unless I'm doing something very wrong 2 hours is bs.

ive killed and lvl 4 players all lvl 28 now and i tried to get the gnoll slayer but in 7 mouths ive been playing i have not seen him in bb i think that quest is missed up. |

Played my ranger from 5-20 in BB with TRACK and nary a once did I see an "Elgnub" on my track list. I think this quest is total BS unless he is a triggered spawn. If he is that then apparently no one knows how to trigger him cause I didn't see him once. |

The Gnoll Slayer is a Magic No-drop Weapon 6/26 when fixed summons a wolf and does 2x damage to gnolls. You dont talk to Marton about the Baby more than once you just get the quest and complete it. It is also possible to purchase the Gnoll Hide Tome in some of the evil cities I have found one in Neriak.

You ARE right Telpyrion. Verant said that they took the skill requierment out of the quest because the armor of RO quests were hard enough and didn't want people going through all the trouble just to have the item fail to be forged. |

No one killed him though, I think it's because he's a necro, and to heal other gnolls (which he did), he had to use dark empathy, which takes some of his own life. He was below half before anyone even tried him. A PC |
