It seems that there is a lot of armor in Vellious that is Dragonscale or Dragonbone.
It has always been my understanding that Druids were limited from plate armor since it wasnt natural and didnt come directly from nature.
Hence the reason we can wear chitin armor.

most of the game works like that! there are very few triggered spawns. most are random spawns with placeholders. |

You cannot bash with it because it is a weapon, the larger races however can slam with it and I have found the occasional critical hit (44+) makes the combat short and sweet just when you think it's about to turn nasty.

Just a thought from a bard who has one and likes using his.. Other than the look of it.. A staff with a skull on top.. it is an ok bard weapon until you can get something like a yak procing. for a bard that extra 48 points of damage is very helpful.. and with my dex at 151.. quite frequent
