You did get lucky. The reason why the price has gone down is because of all the other things coming out, but still its a good newbe weapon. I got one for 3 pp AWSOME DEAL. I would not sell it for under 100pp though. |

The bloodforge hammer is very common now. the typical price is only 10pp and even that price seems to be hard to get nowadays. Well, since the item is LORE, he would have had to have spent much time here getting these EVERY time. The mob that drops this is called "A wandering stonehealer", roughly 30 to 35 in level.
And since the stonehealers are casters, they are a pain to kill off.

20k? More like 30+ This has that magical property of AC, and adds 10 at that. I would not be surprised if it was 40k. The only drawback is the weight, and that is inconsequential given the rest of the stats. |

Yes these still drop. Just arrived in velious and have hunted just off the dock in iceland ocean, for the last 3 nights. And we as a full group, has looted about 5 of these. Won one so far. WOOT WOOT!!! But my ranger buddy has won 3. I wish i had his luck. Errrrr, her. |

His original post IS valid - just not with this weapon. It appears there is more than 1 exquisite velium weapon out there, including an EV spear which, of course is piercing and used for backstabbing.
Stats of 12/20 and listed on Maximum EQ, rogues ARE going to go ape over it. A comment or 2 |

I'm thinking it's because of the average level of mobs in the Arch's area, not good to tell a 24-27 person they can get this, then have a warrior wander out to find him and get smote by somethin higher level before they get there...lol |
