FYI, this only seems to drop off the Elites and Emmisary at the orc fort... I may be wrong, of course, but I've certainly never seen it drop off a cent, mystic, or oracle, or off any of the mobs inside CC. They changed the drops just after Velious came out so that may explain the confusion... so go |

brute hide = free
plains pebble = free
HQ = free if you spend just a little time in High Pass or Runneyeye (if you want to make the studded version that is a whole 1AC different)

Yeah, West Cabilis, 2nd floor, the Mortician. Its about 48pp. This is one of the best deals in the game, especially for a Monk, since it only weighs 1.0! I saved every copper from lv6 to lv12 (including some nice bone chip sales) and got the 3rd best waist AC in the game as a completely untwinked |

I only know from what my enchanter friend told me who just got these but he said it is nothing but a clarity 1 type spell. If that is a mistake I apologize for the misinformation but that is just what I was told. |

This seems to be kind of a bizarre effect to put on an item. It's one of the Thicken Mana line of spells that conjures a vial of mana for use in creating enchanted tradeskill items.

Maybe if it summons the vial without requiring the components and they plan on introducing more trade items that require mana vials then this would be somewhat ok. Even then it's still a pretty useless effect, I'm hoping it's supposed to be clarity |

I have seen this item being /auc in Lake of ill omen. If I had known that it was this nice I would have bought in. It is better than the Crystalized Sword I have wanted for some time now and when I saw it being sold it was going for like 200pp! Denrick kicks self :( |

Actually, to my knowledge, I have yet to see one velious helm graphic that shows up(save that male barb ulthork one). I've been told that verant just hasn't added in any helm graphics with velious yet. |
