Um, if you have to use the book it's seriously messed up, this book in DEEP within paw, and took a large group moving through paw just to get to the room. I con amiamble to Marton Sayer, and just tried giving him a split paw eye. He simply gave me a thanks. Never saw Lord Elgnub and personally think this enchanted Gnoll Slayer is an EQ myth. |

the book isnt worth couple of hundreds of plats its worth 10k pp + think of it as a GBS and getting it is just CRAZZY the persont that drops the tomb is near ISHVA which is a very hard mob lvl 45+ and if you do get to the room im sure its camped by lvl 50 group since tishva drops the robe a a lvl 39 |

hehe ever read "Quest"ions and Answers forum? this was in there and someone posted as a suggestion that lord elgnub is so hard to find, he's a gnoll and gnoll hide tome is also very hard to get. this quest is not worth it, and the stats are made up =) |

Ok, to get the darkforge greaves, you have to get both decayed Leg plates and 2 bricks of Melatite, you Then Turn that stuff into one of the Undead knights in temple of solosek ro located in Lavastormm, once you find the undead knight, hail him and get the details on the quest and make sure you turn |

An adendum to my earlier post. lvl 37 pet that is not buffed-hands down the worst pet to begin with; and and to that no buffs to speak of

Hey rjfras, did you happen to kill the gnoll high shaman while clearing the elite room (I'm assuming you mean the room with the 4or5 spawns that spawns comms and shammies and even the hs sometimes)? So far these posts seem to learn towards that info on how to trigger this semi-mythical creature. |

A picture of Elgnub is posted in Illia's Bestiary, there's a link to it on the left scroll of this site (thx Allakhazam :) it's a great bestiary). It's a good pic too, you can clearly see the door by which he spawns and if that's not the locked door in the snake pit of BB I'm a gnoll's uncle. |
