One piece of the staff is on a bandit in East Karana. He is the named bandit at the bandit camp near the druid rings. His name is Tallus Holton and he drops the staff staff segment and a key named "H.K. 401" or something like that, both Lore No-Drops. |

The reason for the new york style price on this is that yea it is a pain in the arse to even get to WW and fight there. Once you finally wreck one of the dragons that drops it you got plenty of people ready to roll on it with at least 3 groups being present. the last is that it is a fairly low delay |

I figure I have somewhere in the mid 20's hours trying to get this thing. If I where to camp this again, assuming I take over when a group disbands their camp after spawn. I would have to wait another 6 hours with a minimum of 3 of us to hold the camp from the gnolls. Thus a 1/3 chance of winning |

if you're on a PvP server...this would be a nifty thing to have hot-boxed with your shield.
If you find yourself hooked up with a caster you can switch to this from shield and help yourself out...especially vs wizzies. |

I agree, they are almost worthless by the time you can use the effect. I have a pair of these and have tried using them for healing during downtime. With the increased casting time it's better to just med up for a heal than it is to stand and use these. And since you get Resolution at 44 you real |

i heard it hits for 900 melee damage and sales for up to 200k pp and comes with every spell by every class and only 2 people in everquest have it
and it can kill the PoD in 1 hits and is dropped by dvinn 1 out of 1 billion times...its awesome |

I got this whip from a friend when I was level 5. I have held onto it for this long waiting for it to proc. I just hit 25 today (WOOT!) but then I had to log to go to work so I am not sure yet if it will proc at 25.
