Bring a chanter with you.
Just remember: Verant is starting to put more of these scenarios in. Shamans need to bring a chanter with for a firiona vie quest. Soon, there will be more.

What are the stats for this weapon / weapons? and are they no drop? It would be nice to know because if its no drop with stats worse then what I have it makes the quest quite the waste of time.

That's the pic I submitted back in the day, when I got Gnoll Slayer, but I'm pretty sure the pic I submitted showed more of the spike pit (ie, two spikes, and the underside of the ledge that's right above the locked door). Guess they edited it. And gave me credit hehe.

Doubt it's the spiroac blade, for 1 reason -
the quest backround says they are
"covered in runes". the 1st blade "can't remember the title" has "runed" in it, i belive.... plus comparitivly, the wingblade is too easy to get - you only have to go to one zone.

Verant wants warriors to go to lots of different places and kill all (or at least most) of the uber mobs in the game.
