This is nonsense.
True, there is no damage bonus to your off-hand weapon. Therefor ratio (and possibly procs or bonuses) are the only thing that count there.
This piercing weapon (its not a shield, you can't bash with it) has a 1-4 dmg/dly, which puts it on par with other newbie weapons like a |

im not sure though, but i bought one from the aviak vebdor in SK for exactly 25 plat.....?
sure, dmg 3 is crap, but the dly 20 boosts ya 1HS, dual wield and double attack like hell!
just wield another 1HS in secondary and almost every second foe gives +1 to one skill |

gestalt:illusion iksar and illusion troll do grant regeneration iksar being the better of the 2 regens my chanter gets 5hp per tick in iksar form and 2 hp per tick in troll compared to the 1hp per tick in regular high elf form |
