Actually if an item is magic or not is dertermined solely by a flag on the item.
At least according to the screenshot this is NOT magic.
It is normally true, that items with stats are magic, but it does not have to be that way. Northman kite shield, has stats but is not maguc, while blackened |

At low levels with the lower weight cap, this is probly better than Drolvarg. I mean with 14-15 wt and 4 is used up on fighting batons, you have to keep it down. Once you get to Trance stick and a higher weight cap, Drolvarg is still better. |

I agree, this stuff is pretty ok, but nothing fantastic. This is a great gap filling cloak between cured silk/mesh and the white wolf hide class of cloaks. |

This is another example of a monk quest that got totally eclipsed by an easier to get item that is better. I think verant should really revisit the Treant Fists and Collar of Neshrika quests. Treant fists should add about 20 - 25 hitpoints instead of 5 and neshrika should a) weigh 0.1 and b) be 5 |

I have spent ages in CoM and only ever seen 1 drop. Its pretty rare. I have also heard of someone who got one to drop of a golem.
Also you can tell when a skelly has it as he will be holding it.

Just got this in Dalnir's last night...thought eh I'll try it out. Swaped out my Edge of Cabilis and loaded this sucker in.
Same damage (to within 2%) of the edge and much faster plus an extra 5 AC...add in my taunts and stuns and I was able to keep mobs on me constantly and off everyone else.

Dragon Head.Dragons in WW often drop this for my guild when we do it.You turn the GREATER dragon head into Dalmaaz Stormslayer, who is on King Tormax faction. Most people are not sure how to raise Tormax faction. It is done easiest by killing dwarves |

I currently wear a Lizardscale cloak which weighs 2.5 but +5 dex, so I may switch to one of these so I don't have to go over my 16 weight limit when using my Adamantite Bo Stick... and I really don't want to have that Proc too much, so lowering the Dex can't hurt too much :-) |

I don't know if I'm the only one who thought of this, but why is it that this discussion comes up over so many different items? Why can't Verant Interactive make items that solely benefit either melees or casters? If they took the +STA and +HPS off this item no warrior in the world would want this |

Not that I know or anything, but I believe that you have to be of a certain level in order to start the Epic Quests (50 would be my guess), and perhaps this is why he is telling you that you must prove yourself.
I know that we tried to start the enchanter epic for a member that was level 49 and b |

ok yes it proc's at 50, the key quest is really easy, first head over to kaesora, you need a tank 45-50+, cleric 50+, wizzie/shammy 45-50+, then it's VERY easy to take down Xalgoz, he usually drops 2 fangs each time(they are a nice warrior range to) once you get the Xalgozian Fang from Xalgoz, head |

Tailoring trivial on this item is 128. Requires brewing (Heady Kiolas), 200 mana and a pearl from an enchanter to make one ingredient, and the silk swatch. Cost is low - but it's a real pain to do. Have been selling for about 30pp; but that's when I was using them to skill up my tailoring. Ma |

2-3pp per AC? That would make this item only 15pp. Cheapest cost to make (if you are an enchanter, who is a brewer, with good charisma, and hunt the spiders yourself) is about 10pp. It takes hundreds of hours or work to get to the skill level this trivials at. Also - you have to chase down |
