Finally a belt with respectible AC and a useful stat. Plate classes will probably go for something better, but for the chain classes this is one of the better AC items. |

Mith 2hander is 21/40 31% permenent haste
if you factor haste properly this makes the actual performance of a mith 2hander 21/31
however the dmg bonus for 2handers 40 dly and up is applied before haste is calculated
so you end up with a 21/31 plus the 40 and up dly bonus
so is 24/39 better |

Then again, at the beginning of EQ, the BIBS was considered a great mid-level weapon for almost anyone. Putting stuff like this into Runnyeye before Kunark came out would have seemed crazy, as the old Runnyeye stuff (BI Crown, BIBS, etc.) was pretty good at the time.

Actually I only see these going to monks or bards. They are damn fine monk boots without the buff, which if I remember right doesn't stack with clerics' AC buffs. And bards' spell stacking is coded a little differently so they can stack certain right click items over spells that don't normally :). |
