The druid and ranger epics start off the same, so you can use the druid walkthrough up to "Foloal tells you to take the stone and walk your path" to get you started.

at 32 go get yourself a cloak of the icebear off Martar Icebear in permafrost. 8ac 10hp 20cold, you'll keep it in vault for resist gear for a damn long time after you replace it.

/ponder all you stupid people that think a CGS is better than the ToV! it is the best offhand in the game next to the pearl kedge totem and think what if you need to gate you just might need that extra mana and when u are lvl 60 +1 wis is worth about 200 mana so stop trying to get AC! its worth noth |

I am a level 32 warrior with 121 dex and I still cannot get this to proc 95% of the time. I have went through entire battles only to have this proc like once or twice...is there some trick? Has this been nerfed? How come some people in the tread swear by this weapon for fighting caster? Very fru |

Anyone in South Karana that is looking for this item just needs to step into Lake Rathe and get it off High Gnoll Shaman. There is usually always one there. Spawns pretty quickly. could only pick up one but there were two other corpses with them on. beware of easy trains though.

It's because item AC does not translate directly to actual AC benefit.
I've read that you get 1.55 actual AC per 1 item AC, at least under one particular set of circumstances; I haven't checked to see if it holds for everyone.

Actually, it's more because the piercing paladins get--two-handed piercing--is supposed to be a separate skill from piercing. Whether the two skills are treated the same internally I don't know, but they're meant to be separate.

It doesnt override higher spells of the darkness line, even snare d overrice engulfing darkness. Dooming darkness overrides snare thou.
