I haven't actually done this quest yet (or any of the Darkforge quests for that matter), but it looks like you can get the Decaying Armor (all types, including the boots) from a Lizard Crusader in Cazic-Thule. As far as I know, that is the only place to get this type of armor. |

Monks can't use these boots, however we do need AC and str and hps. I am a monk and I have yet to see anything less than a warrior tank (Pal, rang, rogue forget it) at least two to three levels higher then me taunt anything off me for more than a few seconds. Monks pull, get agroed on, get doted, |

Actually about 3 years ago, when eq had just been officially launched, this zone used to be called SolA. After a while (and several patches later) the zone name was changed to Soluseks Eye.

Ive had both and the Mith IS MUCH BETTER end of story.
Also the price on the mith is still around 1kp where as this took AGES to sell on and I only got 150pp and a Crystalized Sword for it. IE: its common as muck and the price will crash any day now.

Nice, there are many nice items floating around
that have the Flowing Thought line of spells attached, if you are a caster and want a Flowing Thought item, check out the 7th of the Coldain Shawl Quests, easier than this im sure 8), but the shawl quest take lotsa money. and time, and luck 8) |

Rangers can't use probably because Verant tries (yes tries) to keep to roleplay standards of games likes D&D.
You ever play that game? You ever see a Ranger wearing plate? Read any fantasy books were a Ranger wears plate? Nope, never.. nada.

Pieces for this quest drop in Temple of Veeshan.
So, unless you gain like 45 lvls and a full set of uber armor items, you will never...ever get this range slot piece. TMO is the best guild on Fennin Ro, and sometimes they get handed their asses in this zone...well, maybe just the chanters ehehe |
