From my studies in this and the skills it matters.. if your 1 hand slashing sucks or duel wield sucks don't split them but other then that why not split them... here is some stuff to consider

although it will most likely still go to a caster because of the wis/int and mana, the AC on it isn't too bad for neck slot for tanks, hybrids would especially love it. it is only beaten in AC by 4 items in Allakhazam's database in its slot. its resists also are great |

Well my 45 SK is using one so not really. The Clay Guardian Shield is +25 AC +50hps, goes for 1.5 to 3K maybe. So if you want a nice shield that you can camp easy then this one will work. And as a DE I need the +9 Str. |

Hell, I wouldn't mind these for my cleric, sure they don't compare to the epolets, but 25 ac and 10 str is hard to pass up, and I'm to the point where I'm starting to trade wis gear for resist gear anyhow.
And of course my Sk would just scream for these. |

Nah, pretty much this is a good item for any class. By the time a caster/priest can get this item they most likely have maxed wisdom/int anyway so I see this being randomed by everyone if the guild that kills it does it that way. |

I use a windsaber, highest crit with trueshot disc going was 289, 3 damage arrows, and shammie buffed 223 str. To see anyone but a ranger using this bow is a total waste.
