I have the same error showing as Bartleby Windtalker
I use win2k, P3 800 mechine with 512 133Mhz. I never had this type of file I/O or lost internet connection. I even turned virus protection on to make sure thats not why but.............
BTW I have sol now I feel like I am SOL |

So i can get on, but once i get on all my emotes are black. my emotes have a black line going across it and my screen is black...any ideas about how to fix it?

I thought for a moment it may be my computer. I called cable and said I keep getting disconnected. They tried alot and finally said it was not them :). So EQ of course I predict by Friday is we are lucky. |

ok, I thought it was just mine. Ihad dx8.1 already. had it all week with no problems. now the patcher says Everquest.exe has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. You would have thought they would have tested the patcher before they actually went live.

Well -- my problem with the patch is "Error Parsing XML". I have Windows XP and thought I had the latest Direct X -- I guess I will try installing the Direct X "8.1" from EQ. Gee and I was just getting back into EQ after being away for a while -- I even downloaded all of the map |
