Confirmed - It is now mana preservation (patch applied 11:00 GMT) I comleted the quest at about 14:00

This is now the ONLY tradeable item with Mana Preserve III. This means it is essentially the only sellable item that gives ANY caster (except for clerics CHealing) 10% more mana (in effect). |

This saves 10% on mana cost of spells. Effectively increasing your mana pool by 10%. And because I don't have to regen my mana by that 10% more, it is like having flowing thought 3 or 4 on this baby. This is one awesome piece of equipment now. Every caster should wear one. It will probably be nerfed |

Only problem with this is the if it is truly "Mana Preservation I", then the effect only works on spells up to L20. This is a real slap in the face for an item that you cannot realistically get until about L15.
