I also only found the Giant Fire Beetle Carapaces to drop off of the giant fire beetles in EC. Thankfully, few of the items for these quests (at least for the Qeynos bard armor) are no drop, so I was able to purchase many of them. |

They can be found as rare drop out of lions and lionesses in WK, there are lots of them running around. Found one tooth out of about 30 mobs. Killed them easily at lvl 8, just very slightly twinked with leather armor and a fine steel longsword.

I'm not sure where to go to get the item, but I am fairly certain that going either to EC or GF is not the place to go.

My experience in getting Tanik to spawn was gruelling. I spent over 9 hours once and many nights over a period of maybe four weeks now. Finally go Tanik to spawn (about 16 death squads first).

Wouldn`t be a good idea to turn 1k before 51 unless you have a lot of money to waste.

I'm confused as to how this would be useful in melee combat as it has no benefits to melees stats but it does have mana regen... To a beastlord/sk/ranger possibly... but why in melee combat??? why not in spell casting???

I recall reading somewhere (think it was this forum, a LONG time ago) about a way to disable the plant animations in kunark and Velious.
I need this information now that I am level enough to travel in these areas.
