I can't imagine a melee taking off their arm armor for this. It's a nice item for exping, but for many raids I take these off due to the hit that it does to my resistances. |

Don't know about you, but FT gear adds up nicely on me. I'm up to 8 pts of FT with these and 2 from Mental Clarity and another 6 from Blessed Armor of the Risen.
That's 16 pts of mana regen without a chanter nearby.
You sure these aren't worth it? |

My guess on this piece is that an actual newb can't get the piece solo. Previous experience with GFBs in EC indicates a L5 Cleric has 0.026% chance of taking one. May be able to newb-group for it though. Will check when Baby Cleric gets over to EC. |

As far as my experience goes, i have seen this hammer drop like 10 times in CoM and has always been from non-running Skellies anyway, so the Snare tactic would be moot anyways. I could be wrong but i havent seen it drop from anything else.

Pine Scout Armor Shopping List:
The closest places I could find spiderling silks for this quest are Everfrost and Toxxulia Forest. The combine is no-fail. You might want to pick up sharpening stones while you are there. Get a stack, they're cheap!

And you r missing the point that you simply put your normal gear on, at the start of a fight to have max mana possible, and switch to this when you need to recover mana.
Once you have used say 20m, you put this item on instead to get FT3, and voila, you dont lose any mana at all when putting it on |

Team up with ranger when close to defiler's level. Trade helping them kill Yollis Jenkins for the head they need for their weapon in return for their help getting the defiler's head.
Get it a level or two sooner that way. |

I got him last night and killed him. He's on the second floor of Black Burrow. Dropped the battleplans on the first death :)
Reward for this quest is a Dam 9 Delay 33 Mace. Magic Item No Drop.

I finished the entire quest last night. The lock of scarecrow straw drops from 'Animated Scarecrows' in Western Karana. These critters hit really darn hard (in the 30s) and con'd Lt. Blue and Dk. Blue to my level 19 cleric. You can find them in the Miller family's field.
