At the age of 12 Wrenn's Brother and sister along with Mom and Dad were out picnicing in the Qeynos Hills. The three children ages 10,8,12. The three of them want to be famous as rangers. So like all good future rangers they were practicing their Tracking ablility. When a movement in the bush reveiled a gnoll the things was only about as big as Wrenn. Wrenn tried to hand to hand the creature to keep it from his family. His sister was the first to be taken out by the ambushing gnolls behind them. His brother made it up a tree only to have the tree cut down and he fell under it, killing him. Wrenn managed to kill of his gnoll attack and find his parents before to gnolls got him too. The gnolls were in close pursuit the two ran to a nearby guard gave the guard the injuried 12 year old boy and asked him to take him to the Surefall Glades. They had family there. He would be receive training as a Ranger. His last memory is of his parents is seeing his mother fall to the ground from an
