It's because gnome skin armor is tagged as medium-sized armor. So only races that can wear medium armor can wear gnome skin, small only and large only races are left out. It won't fit trolls, ogres, halflings, dwarves, or gnomes.
It's also tagged as leather, which leaves int casters out. |

Now I am not possitive about this, but I have heard that if someone has full Ravenscale..meaning the rare stuff from epic mob along with Cazic-Thule stuff...that it is better than Woven Shadow. I haven't gone through and added up the different stats, but it would be cool if this is true.

The Crystal Grinder has 2 AC; the BA longsword doesn't. Possibly, this is why it costs more.

I was responding to a previous post when I stated:
The Blackened alloy longsword has a better ratio than Crystal grinder. 10/29 = 2.9 ratio. 9/27=3.0 ratio. BAL sells for 100pp as opposed to 300pp for grinder. Icetooth's claws are evn better (11/29), and about same price as grinder.
