Characters don't look that bad, infact i'm looking forward to getting the expansion just to see how all the new models look in game. I think the real problem is whoever is taking these screen shots, a bunch of armorless newbies running around infront of one texture backgrounds, kinda ruins it.

My 35 druid carries a Paw of Opolla in Primary Melee and a Testament of Vaneer (SP?) in the Secondary Melee. This item would rock in the Secondary Melee slot. The Grey is a higher level place I believe, so this item will stay high in price for a long while.

This seems like a pretty decent robe for anyone on a pvp server. Blind is always nice to have, plus its got the resists and stats. Its a good robe to have, maybe not as good as Velious Class quest robes, but very good none the less. |

Bah, just go get a collar of undead protection. Few less ac, few more svp/d. Drops off the gaz squire in uguk-a lv 20ish mob. Every rogue should eventually camp a runed bone fork anyways. |

The swarm leader is the big Netherbian baddie. He conned even to my 29 monk, he hit for 54 max (only because I was sitting when he attacked me)... Other than that he was fairly weakm hit for 3 damage most of the time lol =p so an undercon, but he had a lot of HP so he wears you down. My armor wasn't |

For future reference, you should put the cast time on the effect. It's available in the spdat.eff
Cast time looks to be about 3 seconds, and it's Point Blank, which means the MoBs have to be damn close to use it. Still, a very nice robe. |

I feel that the enjoyment in a game is directly proprtionate to its difficulty. EQ is difficult, even at the higher levels. It requires alot of co ordination and help from friends. If you die and pop back up, minus a little exp and still have all your gear(DAoC) you will be more inclined to run o |

I logged in briefly (had to be briefly since the game is having trouble with ATI cards /rude Verant) and noticed that now Ghoulbane has a damage bonus of plus 3, I'm assuming that is against Undead. |

So true...hurts, cuz i just finished my ro bp quest today, and after blowing 210 pp on the plat bars and time spent in MM i could've got this one. Probably has a distinctive graphic too. Sigh. Ah well, 2 extra strength is a bit of consolation :) |

Beastlords can't use 1hs, and someone must have *really* wanted to give them some claws they could use (sorta in keeping with the character, I spose), so ergo, Hand To Hand skill.

The name of the creature that drops this is said to be Va'Dyn.... Switch the D and the V and you get Da'Vyn. same pronunciation of the Dark elf emperor in Crushbone....
