Yes, Rogues can score critical hits with backstabs. If you are really lucky you can get a double-critical Duelist backstab for a pretty obscene amount of damage too I suppose ;) To my knowledge it has no impact on Assassinates.

they meant it was PART of the enchanter epic quest... its an item that you get from killing a factionless cleric in Neriak, you then turn it into one of the 4 masters of enchantments.... sad really, being a darkelf that means i have to kill my own people :(

Can Beastlords use this thing?? I was gonna quest for it and give it to my beastlord, as I assumed they could use it (being as they are a warrior/shaman hybrid and warriors and shamans can use!). If it is just a mistake please post it here. If they can't.....then why not dammit!!!

I have since completed the quest, and even though it doesn't say BST can use above, I assure you that they can. This was the easiest quest in the world, took me 30mins, and the hero popped on my second slaver kill. Will do it again tomorrow for a friend......maybe.

Actually if you take into consideration the armors (formerly monk only armors can be worn by them, and they are only leather based) and skills (many hand to hand weapons are monk/bst only) they are more of a monk/shaman hybrid, not a warrior/shaman hybrid. |
