I remember this one since the beta. The Hammer.. It was a time when there was no twinks, before all these crafted and other armors, before banded armor, it was a time when JBoots dropped in Najena and SSoY was the 'uber of all uber' items. Bone Bladed Claymore was considered a powerful weapon, not t |

Okay, a couple of the critters don't turn my crank, they look a little too much like generic nasties I've seen before (the horned mammoth and the quadrahog - did I get that spelling right?). BUT several of them are great, and just imagining running into them was bad enough - I'd hate to really have |

The quest is long and involved. The final results of which is breath-takingly out of whack with any conceivable attractive cost/benefit ratio. Its has old school stats (look up the Kunark mob drops, let alone the Velious stuff). It procs an 70pt AoE. Can you say "lets wake up all the mezzes&quo |

I acquired this item and wore it for a day or so, The blinking shield just bothered me so I gave it to my Chanter friend.
Doesn't really help my Druid much as it would replace the ToV I have on my secondary with less Wisdom. I agree the stats could come in handy, but I know I need the wisdom more. |

Drops in Velketor's Labyrinth, I believe. There's also a really nice cloak made of spider fur. Apparently, spider fur is super light, and warm to boot. :) |

Bah. They can use it anywhere where mob not running is essential. In a group or not. The only place they shouldn't use it is in a single fight where the mob won't run and will squash the wielder in a few seconds. That goes for the dragons and wurms at ToV and for example the guy in the black skirt t |

A great item for anyone that uses mana and is included in the list oc compatible classes.
These should first go to those using only mana as means of combat and then the rest. And yes I'm a paladin saying this. |

In the end game it's all about HP and resists. This has neither. 2 years ago Verant would never release an earring like this, but as players prove again and again that AC give diminishing returns at certain levels, you'll start seeing more and more items like this that would have been at one time AW |

Um, Ok. Beastlords get a pet that, after a spell buff, is equal to them in level. I've only played a beastlord up to a pretty modest level, but he can solo quite well. I've heard that Beastlords aren't much help to groups, but I've never grouped with one so who knows.

Ah yes, the good old days when poison didn't work, mesh armor was the best a monk could get, and a monk's bare fists delt out more damage over time than just about anything - and a rogue with a fang skull stilleto was nearly worshipped as a god.

Besides, any ranger who gets this is probably of sufficient lvl to have the Jolting Blades weapon proc spell. The proc effect on this isnt that much different then the Silken Whip of Ensnarement. Its just about aggro management is all. Thats why we get spells like Jolt and Jolting Blades. |
