The Explorers in Lake of Ill Omen have only been there since approx early March 2002.
They can be found in the ruined tower type structure on the Nth side of the lake at loc 1900,100 (roughly)
There are 5 or 6 explorers as well as a Lead Explorer I have seen spawn in there. Seem to be on Firon |

Actually, first the base ratio of monk epic fists is NOT better than this weapon. Second with the monk epic's haste on this weapon, it becomes roughly 12/14, which is just a wee bit better than 9/16. Plus the stats and resists are a nice bonus.

This one is really nice but is far from the best caster robe in terms of stats, the effect on this one is better than the one with stats though, you decide which one's better:

You know...it never ceases to amaze me how much stuff I "should" have for my 55th level that I don't have. Must be nice to be in that club that instantly gets stuff given to them or those in a loot centric guild.

Actually, illusion earth elemental (among other spells) makes you quite KOS to most guards in the world...no matter what race you changed from. |

On a blue server this is nothing more than a toy but on the PvP servers this item is very powerful. It can be cast on the run and 4 clicks will remove every buff you could possibly have on you...

hmm, id have to agree with ssilo, this robe does give more mana, but u wont need clarity with this new one :), the ToV robe is more like an enchanter robe :)

I'm not a programmer, but this is how I think it works:
252 is a magic number because it's sending 256 bits of information with each packet you send and recieve while playing the game. 4 of those bits are used as identifiers, leaving you with 252 for an actual quantity.

This is no better than some of the uber loot coming from Velious and Luclin. The fact that it's no-drop will make up for the "balance" if a wearer were to return to their original server.

I think Sal's Robe of Darkness is WAY better, with the intelligence you get a lot more mana, but considering that Vulak'Aaer doesn't spawn anymore, puts somethings into the picture. Which is better for the drop rate? Which is overall better? Just my opinions, take no regard if you don't want to. |

not really... i would prefer wep stats on my wep over regular stats. Anyways at this lvl most erudites should have a hero bracer plus like 2 jagged bands + whatever else is on their stuff. Im 40 and i got 139 str and thats cause im going for high ac junk |

i have to say this is reasonable for the lvl. 13 ac is better then a bunch of stuff you might have at this lvl like rygorr or SSB or something. 3int and 3str arent too much, but oh well. |

i was planning on going for kromrif legs for the extra 2ac, but now i think i will sell my bloodwolf harness and try for these! 14 ac beats out rygorr, flayed skin, +some. this beats kromrif for dex and int, but kromrif still got 2 more str then these. |
