I saw it on a barbarian. Looks like a claw with sort a plate thingy that goes over the top of the hand and stops at the wrist. Talons aren't as long as other claws, but they look wider. The weapons have a blue flame radiating off them. Very cool.

It may not necessarily mean a nerf. The designers of the game put it there for a purpose, and made it mage usable for a purpose. Think about how difficult this is to get… This will rapidly be the must have mage item. Only nerf that wouldn’t surprise me about this item would be making it No Drop, |

I helped a friend with this quest yesterday and it didnt combine for him either, but he spoke to a GM and they told him that it was some bug and they would be fixing it and to hold off trying to combine for a few days |

I believe what they were saying is that by giving pally, clerics, and necros the rez/summon corpse spells and the wizzy's/druids the evak/succor spells sooner it would encourage lower levels to venture into the dungeon zones where there is already and exp bonus but now they can utilize it.
