Now that I've reached a level where my int and cha are maxxed I'm more interested in surviving a few shots off level 55+ mobs. Enchanters get bashed on more than any other caster.

While I would love this shield (mage), I wouldn't stand in the way of an enchanter, they are in so much more need of AC than a mage is. |

This is also a hybrid's dream--don't knock the melees just because they don't need the intelligence. Only classes who wouldn't use this are rogues, rangers, and monks (and warriors) |

actually, only warriors, monks and rouges dont really need it, although it might be a toss up for rangers, 35ac, or a weapon |

I have seen Zeta (of EoD as well) with one of these. So they are around and not a hoax, (not that I would ever consider something from EoD to be a hoax).

I'd think Paladin / Shadowknight wouldn't get much use out of it, the main reason to go 1hs is to bash, in a lot of cases... can you bash with this? |

i have to agree - enchanters are always high on the aggro list and have screw all HP and AC normally. I'd expect the enchanter would get first dibs on this sucker. Good point raised above - if druids/shamans and the like are tanking then they should seriously look at how they play.... |
