It drops off a Snowfang gnoll called 'elder spearman'. When you see him, he'll be carrying what looks like a Paw of Opolla in his left hand. He's not hard to kill, but certainly not easy. From what I remember reading about this item a LONG time ago, the proc does 70 pts of AoE magic-based Lightning damage, decent radius. I could be wrong; hell, we don't even know if this exists anymore. :( |

From what I know... it is not only a rare MoB but a rare drop off that rare MoB... so unless you have the patience of... well a true monk... and can find a tracker with that same patience... I wouldn't recommend camping for this.

These same vermiculated arms can drop off of Phoboplasms. This is a mob that has a chance to drop every class specific armor in Fear.
