Basically, if you are standing in the entrance to the Mino mines, facing inside the tunnels, the Hero will appear directly behind you across the valley (you can see him from the entrance itself)
I managed to get him to spawn approx every two hours by constantly kiling the Mino slavers... |

I play an 56 Iksar Monk.
You chaps dont seem to realise how little there is for Iksar monks for wrist slot (Since we cant wear plate like human monks).

This drops from Ikiathar the Venom. He quads for 750s, is immune to magic, and has a couple hundred thousand hps. And imho, he's the EASIEST of the north wing ToV bosses by a good margin. You'll probably be in full forest stalker's gear before you fight this guy. |

These are about the same in rounded-out stats as the crescent sleeves from Dalnir. The crescent have a little more AC and stam, but these counter with STR and DEX. These gloves are nice, and much better and more cost efficient when compared to the Ry'gorr Chain gloves, which are more expensive and give less strength and only 2 more ac (not to mention the dex stats this gives). I'd highly recommend this over Ry'gorr. |

If the player has nothing on him in his secoundary slot will it increase his stats? Yes. It's not as good as other items, but it can help any class.

I kinda find it strange that no other stats are added considering the name. Or even an effect. But he does make a good point that it could be a quest item. And it is pretty good ac for a monk. And it isn't that bad of weight either. And no, I'm not saying its only for a monk. Just good for one.
